It is rare to find this quality in any product. It's built to last forever. Staples smoothly, strong, heavy-weight for a stapler, which feels good, especially when stapling several pages at once. The only complaint that I have is aesthetic. There seems to be a defect in the paint on my stapler. Very soon after purchasing it, a small area of paint flaked off of the front corner, and the Swingline badge on the top seems a bit thin, instead of a strong metal plate.
Overall, I am very satisfied with this product and trust Swingline above all other office supplies. I love the stapler, but people keep borrowing it and not bringing it back.

I love the staplers, but they have a habit of disappearing from my desk. So many have been pilfered it's now impossible to distinguish between them. I do try to remind people by politely informing them 'I believe you have my stapler,' but I am almost always ignored. One day I have will have my revenge.

Love the look, a real conversation piece when sitting on your desk. The stapler makes up for the way I have been treated at work lately because they've moved my desk four times already this year, and I used to be over by the window, and I could see the squirrels, and they were merry, but then, they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much, and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and it's not okay because if they take my stapler then I'll set the building on fire. After the first staple, the row of staples does not move forward enough to position the next staple.
So when I squeeze the stapler, it goes through the motion put does not dispense a staple. I have to open, re-position, then close for every staple. I've tried several staple types. Also, the silver logo on the top is cheap carbon steel. It rusted within a few weeks so much it is not readable.

Comments about Swingline 747 Collectors Edition Stapler: I'm officially obsessed with my special edition Rio Red Swingline 747 I feel silly saying this about a stapler, but if your day job involved as much paper-pushing as mine does, you'd understand! This thing is built like a tank, all-metal, and looks great sitting on my desk. Makes it harder for my co-workers to 'accidentally' walk off with it, thanks to the bright red color! Well worth every penny I paid for it, I expect it to last for a good long while.
